Avo-Matcha Smoothie Recipe
I love making smoothies for breakfast, it’s a quick and easy way to get all my nutrients and protein in first thing in the morning. Adding a little caffeine to my smoothies also helps me kick off the day with more energy.
If your protein powder is already sweetened, you don’t need agave. I typically use the Unsweetened Pea Protein from Trader Joes then add agave. You can also use any type of milk you’d like - I prefer almond milk because the avocado and banana are already really creamy. Another suggestion is to add a handful of fresh spinach - or you can freeze fresh spinach and use that instead of frozen banana to make a cold smoothie. Pro tip - you can make extra and put it in the fridge for the next morning. Enjoy!

2 Cups of Almond Milk
1/2 Fresh Avocado
3 Chunks of frozen banana
2 Scoops Vegan Protein
1 Scoop Matcha Powder
1 Tsp Agave
1 Handful of Spinach (Optional)
